1. From need analysis to solution design

Plus Biomedicals supports clients in developing solutions that simplify and improve the quality of life of neurorehabilitation patients and the operations of care providers for people with disabilities, the elderly, children, and people requiring post-trauma rehabilitation.

The analysis of specific needs serves as the initial phase. Indeed, each project’s preliminary stage involves analyzing existing products in the market, assessing their pros and cons, and engaging with professionals such as physiatrists, physical therapists, and orthopedists, and of course the patients.

2. Expertise and technology at the customer service

Thanks to the Plus Biomedicals team’s cross-disciplinary, engineering, and clinical skills, all phases, from materials research to industrial research to prototyping and production, are developed in-house: constant discussion between engineers, clinicians, and users to archieve the best outcome possible.

3. Prototyping of solutions

Plus Biomedicals technology allows prototyping directly in the laboratory identified solutions to quickly validate them and introducing corrections and improving features.

Thanks to the instrumentation, which includes 3D printers with FDM technology and SLA technology, the team can test the results of their research in the laboratory, optimizing the Research and development process, through ongoing dialogue with healthcare specialists.

4. Product industrialization

Plus Biomedicals deals with the industrialization of products developed with and for the client.

The ability to follow the entire supply chain, from market analysis to product development allows the team to optimize the production process, improving the features of the solutions being industrialized in terms of performance, aesthetics, and design, thus increasing economic competitiveness.
